Mrs. Phoebe Ruth Simmons,
B.A. Religion, B.A. Social Work, M.A. Christian Counseling

Former Director of LaGrande Good Samaritan Ministries® and founder of HeartSong Ministries® in 2002, Phoebe, mother of 3 and grandmother of 8, holds a BA. in Religion and a BA. in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University and a Masters Degree in Christian Counseling from International Seminary.

Her past experience includes active involvement in the Shoshone and Paiute support activites at the Duck Valley Indian Reservation; also making counseling services available to the Tenino (Sahaptian tribes), Wasco and Paiute at the Warm Springs Indian Reservaton.

In addition to counseling, Phoebe conducts Counselor-in-Training instruction in LaGrande and Nampa, Idaho, and guidance support as far away as Alaska and Ohio.
